The Lees-Bradner Company was organized in 1906 as a partnership between Ernest J. Lees and Hosea Townsend Bradner of Cleveland, Ohio. It incorporated in 1909. The company specialized in gear hobbing and thread milling machinery for automobile timing and transmission gears and other applications. Hosea Bradner's sons; John A., George T., and James H.
